Acrylic lacquer primer
Acrylic lacquer gets a bad rap today as everyone wants the 2k products. But I started keeping a small pps cup full of this to use for fast repairs and budget jobs. I have applied this over cured epoxy successfully. I have applied it over sanded body filler and oem surfaces. Have had no issues spraying urethane base over it. Remember, every time you grab a 1 k spray can primer, you are spraying lacquer. This makes more and you can adjust the mixture a bit to make it higher build. But even at 1 to 1 the build is higher than a spray can. Leave it mixed in a cheap spray gun and ready to go on those fast repairs.
