what to do & not do
This is going to be as detailed as i can get.First i did my whole ram 1500. first nono i ordered the product on 2020 we all know what was going on then, and i lost a grand son at 4 years old then and lost all give a damn. I didnt use it until 2023 do to many many issues that came up. 2nd mistake no reading the cups correct i was putting 6oz per quart so you know it was spraying thick as crap. 3rd issue my pressure valve on my compressor went out so i couldnt regulate the pressure. yea so into town with wet liner on my truck. 4 issue didnt shake as long as i should.. Ok im sure yall see what i did wrong and what went wrong. answer to all but 1 of these issues is operator head space and timing (ME) . Never let the product sit that long, but if you do you better have a 2nd person mixing and shaking as you squirt the stuff. I had 1 qt of liner total left over when i turned them upside down into one cup after i was done with it..I eneded up with some runs because i was squirting it so think but all my friends say it looks dang good so it will take some punishment now at least..I used 80 grit and it sticks great. I was 1 qt shy on black for my nerf bars and bed rails it came out perfect because i mixed it right and shook it good. all this to save somebody the problems i went through. the Ive owned a body shop and been around hot rods and customs all my 65 years and goes to show you we all go full fubar some times.. Lessons learned use the product asap. mix it like it says 2 to 3 mins!! make sure your eqt is ready for several hours of work if you do a whole truck/car. To Brad thanks for the help man.
