Product Description
Color Blender is a universal blending product that can be used as a wet-bed sealer, lockdown
clear, mid-coat for tri-coats, graphics and basecoat blender. This blending
agent is compatible with most basecoat systems.
APPLICATION:
MIXING:
RTS (Ready to Spray) No mixing Required.
As a Color Blender - Apply 1-2 light to medium coats of blender mixture onto blend area, extend second coat beyond first coat.
Allow 5-10 minutes flash between coats.
Allow 15-20 minutes dry time at 70F before clearcoating. Caution: In all cases avoid high film builds of Basecoat and SMR-3500LV Color Blender
As a Lock Down Clear - Spray 1 light to medium coat of SMR-3500 LV with no color added (before or after color application), to
lock down the metallic or pearl color prior to clearcoat application. Allow 5-10 minutes between coats.
Allow 15-20 minutes dry time at 70F before clearcoating.

The contents of this package may have to be blended with other components before the product can be used. Before opening the packages, be sure you understand the warning messages on the labels and MSDS’s of all components, since
the mixture will have the hazards of all its parts.
Improper handling and use, for example, poor spray technique, inadequate engineering controls and or lack of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), may result in hazardous conditions or injury.
Follow spray equipment manufacturer’s instructions to prevent personal injury or fire.
Provide adequate ventilation for health and fire hazard control.
Follow company, product MSDS and respirator manufacturer’s recommendations for selection and proper use of respiratory protection. Be sure employees are adequately trained on the safe use of respirators per company and regulatory
requirements.
Wear appropriate PPE such as eye and skin protection. In the event of injury, see first aid procedures on MSDS.
Always observe all applicable precautions and follow good safety and hygiene practices.

Used as a pearl coat
Really easy to use for a first time person like me. I used it as a coat to carry my hypershift-pearls in on recommendations from a professional painter. I had order only the quart size because I was spraying a old hood as a test to see if this would work. It does the job better than I can paint so for me 5 stars. Will be doing the full car with this soon.

Pearl Carrier
Used this a pearl carrier for a trip stage paint and it did the job very well.

Great!
I mixed this with a couple ounces of black to make a tint for my carbon fiber hood. It sprayed nicely. No runs or anything and laid down smooth. I'm sure it can be used for other things to. I'm new to painting but I'll probably experiment some with the leftovers.
