When using SMR-3683 as a Black Basecoat, mix 1:1 with urethane grade reducer.

Follow spray equipment manufacturer’s instructions to prevent personal injury or fire.

Follow company, product MSDS and respirator manufacturer’s recommendations for selection and proper use of respiratory protection. Be sure employees are adequately trained on the safe use of respirators per company and regulatory
requirements.

Quality paint without that quality price!
Just like every other product I have bought from Speedokote, this is another great product. As ppl have mentioned in reviews before me it matches Ford color UA and Chrysler color PX8 it says it is a direct replacement for PPG’s Delton paint witch is one of the best and most expensive paints your can buy, now I don’t use Delton very much but I do use PPG’s shop line Plus which lays great and this pain is definitely comparable if not better at a more affordable price. They cost about half of what a quart of PPG‘s shop line Plus costs with my account discount. It’s quality paint without that quality. I definitely recommend this paint or any of the speedokote products!

coverage
i have ordered about 1/12 gals of this for my truck, it is very nice base coat paint. but it is not covering the 800 grit scrathes. i have to make the paint thicker and add about 5 coats to cover the small scratches. i have ordered the jet black basecoat 9700 and i will see if it will cover the small scratches..

Works just as well as ppg 's jetblack for half the cost!

perfect for the ppg and matrix (accushade) mixing banks
coverage isn't as good as Ppg black but it has matched in every formula I've used it in , it is identical in coverage and color to the matrix mt-83 It's a great buy !!! Been using Speedkote for a couple years now , they have never let me down good products great prices and great customer service !!!

As Good As PPG Products
Recently used this product and was very impressed with its application and performance. I use PPG products and found this product applies better than the PPG product (DBU) I have been using. Will continue to purchase this material from Speedokote. (30 years experience with auto body paint)
